The view from our room onto the main plaza in Valencia
A Busabout bus took us to Brunol - home of La Tomatina Festival
Let the tomatoes fly, 5 trucks with 100 tons of tomatoes roll through and empty - then it's game on
Almost knee deep in water and tomatoes - lucky we were wearing cheap clothes and shoes that were all thrown out

Our camera was drop proof, snow proof and water proof, looks like they forgot to make it tomato proof! Luckily for us our holiday had only 3 days to go...

ReplyDeleteUnbelievable way to end your trip . thanks for finishing it off . Both Spain and Portugal seem unreal . Nice photos and cool captions and yeah that detail in that wall was incredible. You are right too , nice tree sunset shot and the little lane photo was a standout for me too . the long lens kind of look worked well . But no , really , give me Cockatoo Island any day for your history , workmanship , artistry , the whole bit . You can keep your Europe .
